Traditional uses
Wolfberry. Milder than Shu Di. Used for a dry, tired picture, low back, and blurred vision in the traditional eye lesson. The snack-food version is not a clinical dose, and a clinical dose is not a snack plan.

Nourish and cool the eyes. A famous tea pair, still not treatment for eye disease.
- Shu Di Huang 熟地黄
Both nourish liver and kidney. Gou Qi is lighter.
Cautions
Not for self-dosing as medicine. Care with blood thinners and blood-pressure drugs. Traditional note: not ideal if there is a lot of damp or loose stool.
