Where it is

On the inner forearm, little-finger side, about one thumb-width above the wrist crease, beside the tendon.

Nearby: The ulnar artery and nerve travel this side of the wrist. Use light pressure beside the tendon.

Traditionally said to

Luo point of the Heart. Classically linked with speech, sudden fright, and heart rhythm in traditional case language. Useful here as a calm-the-chest point, not as cardiac care.

What people look up

Acupressure

Light pressure beside the tendon for 30–60 seconds.

When not to press: Stop if the little finger goes numb. Do not use this instead of care for chest pain.

About 30–90 seconds is the usual window, unless the step above is shorter. Stop if pain, dizziness, or anything unusual shows up.

Licensed practice only

Needle depth, angle, electroacupuncture

Textbook language for students. Not instructions. A cun is a body-inch on that person, not a ruler inch. Do not needle yourself.

Depth

Common textbook range: about 0.3–0.5 cun perpendicular.

Angle

Perpendicular or slightly oblique, avoiding the ulnar artery.

Electroacupuncture

Introductory charts rarely assign a standard electroacupuncture setting here. Clinics that use current choose frequency and intensity for that person. No milliamp figure is given, because copying one would be misleading.
